Though there won’t be any fireworks at the mall this year, there’s still plenty to check out in town this Independence Day.
Fourth of July in Milford will start with a wreath laying ceremony in front of City Hall at 8:45 a.m.
Independence Day activities continue with a bell ringing on the Green at 2 p.m.

And between the two ceremonies a ribbon-cutting will be held at 10 a.m. for a new carousel at Walnut Beach.
