Connecticut Epilepsy Advocate’s Second Annual "Strike Out Epilepsy"

Connecticut Epilepsy Advocate’s Second Annual "Strike Out Epilepsy"

The Connecticut Epilepsy Advocate’s  Second Annual "Strike Out Epilepsy" fundraiser was a success. This is our only fundraiser.   This year's focus is to find a Connecticut resident living with Epilepsy that needs a seizure alert dog or Fidelco Guide Dog.  Naturally, we still wish to help Connecticut residents living with Epilepsy in other ways such as finding a doctor, public transportation and help with prescriptions just to mention just a few.

We are happy to say we had a better than expected with people from different parts of Connecticut and the kids who were at the lanes with the gutter guards did better than some of the adults.  Mark Kaminski and Dan Zeek of Milford Radio were great with those kids and the adults around them.

For those of you who don't know MilfordRadio: http://www.MilfordRadio.com - It is the only show dedicated to Milford Connecticut and the surrounding area.
Listen LIVE every Wednesday night at 8:00PM

We have some photos from Milford Lanes in Milford Connecticut on our web site and we wish to thank all who participated in the second of many Strike Out Epilepsy fundraisers to come as well as our sponsors and donors for their generosity.

Our gratitude also goes out to following Connecticut television stations, NEWS 8's Gil Simmons, LeRoy Anderson, Erica Grow and Don Lark and to NEWS 12 Connecticut's Gillian Neff, Kristi Olds and John Dempsey.  Along with  Mark Kaminski and Dan Zeek of Milford Radio
