The fliers, which had the message, “You can sleep well tonight knowing the UKA is awake,” were slipped into plastic baggies weighted down with rocks inside them, police said.
The Connecticut Post reports that the baggies were left on driveways of residents in the city’s northern end.
Nielsen said anyone with information about the leaflets should contact police at 203.878.6551.
