Milford, CT – The Downtown Milford Business Association proudly presents the 5th Open Doors and More Art Exhibit and Auction. This year, small chairs and tables have been added to the exhibit/auction, giving the 36 participating artists opportunities to express their creativity in new and exciting ways. Proceeds for this year’s auction will benefit the Milford Arts Center. Live online and phone bidding will be available to preregistered bidders at doorsofmilford@aol.com.

A Reception and Exhibit Grand Opening takes place throughout Downtown Milford on Friday, August 16 from 5 to 9 p.m. in conjunction with Milford Oyster Festival’s ‘Oyster Eve.’   Visitors will delight as they meander along the streets, stop at the shops and restaurants where the Open Door and More Art Exhibits are on display, chat with artists, and enjoy refreshments. This exhibit features artists’ creativity, transforming repurposed doors, windows, chairs and tables into fabulous works of art. A complimentary guided walking tour will take place on Saturday, August 24, at 11 a.m. starting in front of the Gilded Lily Gallery at 101 River Street. Visit www.downtownmilfordct.org for reservations and details.
