Proceeds from the show will help fund the JLHS Drama Club Performing Arts Scholarship Fund, given annually by the group to a graduating Law senior.  This year’s recipient of the Performing Arts Scholarship was Liam Rice, recent Law grad.  Liam will be attending Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I.

The "Guys and Dolls" cast includes more than 30 members of the local community, many of whom are familiar with the stage, including Teddy Boynton (Big Jule), April Scepanski (Sarah Brown), Fran Thompson (Nathan Detroit), John Warakomski (Sky Masterson), Paul Goodman (Harry the Horse), Barry Bonessi (Arvide Abernathy), Kathy Attruia (General Cartright), Beth Brandon (Adelaide), and many more.

Director Michael Mele has "breathed new life" into Law’s drama club since becoming the group’s advisor four years ago. Under his direction, the drama club has developed a renewed passion for the art, performing such notable hits as "Footloose," "Hairspray," and "The Wiz."

Three years ago, Mele suggested the club perform more than one show a year, with the additional shows offered as benefit performances. Their work has led them to many performances in the community beyond the traditional annual school production resulting in a nomination for a Mayor’s Youth Award and 12 Halo Awards this year. Two Law students, Kristen Plouffe and Sean Davis, won Halo awards this year for their work on "The Wiz."

Please join us for an evening of fun and some truly great entertainment – for a great cause. Hope to see you there!
