Milford Republican Peter Spalthoff Running for Mayor

There was chatter today at Park Lane Deli that Milford Republican Peter Spalthoff was running for Mayor of Milford in the upcoming 2013 election. Calls to prominent Milford Republicans across the city, including Spalthoff's wife, Susan Harris, confirmed the news.

Spalthoff posted the following notice on his Facebook page:

Today was a very important day in my life and before it comes out in the press I wanted to share with my fb [Facebook] friends first that I have formally filed papers to run for Mayor this year as the Republican candidate here in Milford. This is very exciting, humbling and gratifying all at once and I can guarantee everyone involved in the selection process, that I will represent the Republican Party in a real positive and honorable manner. We are heading out to Florida tomorrow for a little vacation and would love some of your feed back (positive hopefully) before we go. This is awesome................And Susan and I are over the top pumped and ready.
