Gina Rose Sirico, Neighbor

Ciao! I am a Milford resident, junior at Marist College, and am currently studying abroad in Florence, Italy through Marist International Programs (MIP) at Lorenzo de Medici Institute.  I am a Communications major with concentrations in Journalism and Advertising; I also have minors in Fashion Merchandising and Global Studies.  I have always had a desire to travel, and was given that opportunity at Joseph A. Foran high school during February break with a history teacher.  My junior year, I went to Italy, Monaco and France, senior year to Spain and Portugal.  The summer going into my junior year of college, I did a short term abroad program through MIP to Paris, Geneva and Amsterdam for my Intercultural Communications course.  I guess you can say I caught the travel bug! I knew I wanted to study abroad, and that is one of reasons I chose Marist, for their abroad programs.  I am loving living in Italy, and am taking advantage of being in Europe by traveling as often as I can.
