Milford, CT  06460 (203) 301-0558 congsinai@aol.com www.congsinai.com Congregation Sinai, Milford's Conservative Synagogue, was founded in 1929.  Through the years, it has grown and prospered to include member families from towns in the greater Milford/West Haven area.  In 2007, Sinai  a traditional egalitarion  synagogue completed a move to our new home on Old Gate Lane.  Under the spiritual leadership of Rabbi Dana Z. Bogatz, Congregation Sinai, offers a full range of religious services educational and social programs. Members are encouraged to participate in services at their own level of  comfort-whether reading in english, giving a D'var Torah, or leading portions of the service.  Please feel free to contact us for more information. Services: Friday Shabbat Services at 6:00pm Saturday Services at 9:30am Sunday Family Services at 9:30am We also offer hebrew school for Pre-K through 7th Grade.  Yachad hebrew school classes meet Wednesdays and Sundays at Congregation Sinai.  In addition to studying subjects such as Hebrew, Israel and mitzvoth, the students have several opportunities each year to participate in plays and concerts.  In class, students gain a reading knowledge of Hebrew, develop familiarity with Israel, explore history and ethics, learn rituals for home and synagogue and build strong Jewish identities. The full curriculum is designed to prepare a student for Bar or Bat Mitzvah. A limited program, called Torah Scouts, provides the student with an ethical and cultural education.  Please call Congregation Sinai for more information.
