<p>Open originally as a restaurant in 1929, Redwood Restaurant was transformed into a bar in 1933 when prohibition was lifted, and remains essentially a bar and restaurant today.</p> <p>Redwood is well-known throughout Milford as a place to meet friends and make friends. The atmosphere is casual and friendly.</p> <p>Asked what kind of food he serves, owner Michael Petrie said, "Whatever I'm in the mood to cook." One thing's for sure: It's hearty and it's tasty.</p>
