Milford Police Department

<p>The Milford Police Department is run by Chief Keith L. Mello, who served as a K-9 handler, SWAT team member and commander of the Detective Division before being promoted to the top rank in 2004.</p> <p>Besides investigative, patrol, administrative and traffic divisions, the department has a crime prevention unit, a narcotics and vice squad and a marine patrol.</p> <p>In addition to 109 sworn officers, the department enjoys the help of four canine officers -- three German shepherds and a Labrador retriever.</p>
