Overwhelming Support for Mayor Blake

I went out walking door-to-door for Mayor Ben Blake this weekend, and the positive responses were overwhelming. I’m shocked at how many people who had Peter Spalthoff signs in their yards actually support Mayor Blake! Many residents spoke of how impressed they were with Mayor Blake’s leadership during the storms. Others admired his “yankee thrift” when it came to spending city funds. Most residents agree that the cost-savings over the last two years alone are reason enough to re-elect Mayor Blake.

However, several residents were upset to hear that Mayor Blake’s opponent is spreading untruths about Milford's animal shelter. I’m glad I was able to help correct some of these misconceptions and bring the conversation back to issues that actually impact our city. In a campaign that has been so cluttered with fabrications and negative tactics it's refreshing to see Milford citizens unite around Mayor Blake. I hope this trend of support continues and Milford re-elects Mayor Ben Blake for a second term.
