Get Info on Sandy Relief Funds Milford residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy can learn how to apply online for federal relief funds at an informational session Monday, Sept. 9, at Milford City Hall. Workshop runs from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Genealogy Workshop at Milford Library Genealogist Greg Thompson presents "Obituaries - what's the difference between a good and a bad death notice?" Free and open to the public. Beginners welcome. Funded by the Friends of Milford Library. Starts at 1 p.m.

Tuesday

Word Processing for Beginners at Milford Library If you're new to computers, this free class will help you get familiar with word processing. Learn to make documents and how to edit them. Free and open to the public. Please call 203.783.3292 to register. Class size is limited. Starts at 11 a.m.

Wednesday

Cardio Program at Milford Senior Center A Cardio Program will be offered at the Milford Senior Center, 9 Jepson Drive, Wednesday, Sept. 11, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., providing stretching and toning focusing on the abdominal region, hips, legs and cardio. Six weeks for $20. Call Nancy at the front desk at 203.877.5131.

Saturday

Historic Tours and Indian Artifacts The Milford Historical Society offers tours of three eighteenth-century houses from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Exhibits include artifacts from Native Americans.Visit Country Store and herb gardens.
