Estate Planning Speaker Visits Milford Senior Center Monday, Sept. 16,  at 1:15 p.m. Attorney Jay Jaser will speak on Title 19 and Estate Planning at the Milford Senior Center, 9 Jepson Drive in the Center's upstairs Conference Room. For more information, call 203.877.5131.

Packing Your Backpack: Starting the School Year Off Right Attention Parents, Learn some strategies for beginning the school year on a positive note and staying on track, with Maureen Fox M.S., J.D. Special Education Advocate and Professor of Educational Law at SHU. Event at the Milford Public Library starts at 6 p.m.

'Indian Wars in Connecticut History' will be discussed by David Koch, Associate Professor of History at Housatonic Community College, at the Milford Historical Society’s general meeting on Monday, Sept. 16 at the Mary Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church of the Green, 168 Broad St. Starts at 7.

Tuesday

AARP Driving Course Tuesday, Sept. 17, AARP will conduct a Driving Course 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Milford Senior Center 9 Jepson Drive. To register, call Nate at 203.795.6159.

Milford Mayoral Debate Milford candidates for mayor will present their platforms and answer questions from the audience. Current Mayor Benjamin Blake (D), and challenger Peter Spalthoff (R) will participate. The event is free and open to the public. Sponsor is the Plymouth Men's Club with Arthur Stowe moderating.

Thursday

Walnut Beach Art Stroll On Sept. 19, Walnut Beach will be hosting its 3rd Thursday Art Stroll. An evening of Art, Music, Food, Drink and Dance! And an amazing way to end the summer season!
