Unravelling the Affordable Care Act The Milford Public Library will be hosting a free information session on Monday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. to explain some of the details of the Affordable Care Act (also known as Obamacare).

Tuesday

The Holistic Moms Network Presents: Feng Shui Joan’s Way A presentation by Feng Shui Consultant, Joan Law, who will be speaking on how to control clutter using Feng Shui principles. Feng Shui is the art or practice of creating harmonious surroundings that enhance and balance chi (energy). Event is free and open to members and non-members, including children.

Genealogy 'How to Effectively Digitize Your Photos' -- presented by Greg Thompson. Funded by the Friends of Milford Library. Free library event starts at 7 p.m.

Thursday

Kookin for Kids An adult evening of food tastings provided by Local Celebrity Chefs. Tickets are $25 and includes food tastings and two drinks from the bar. This benefit is to support Good Shepherd and East Shore Child Development Centers, a non-profit corporation providing care and education to families of a variety of income levels. Tickets available by calling 203.874.8232 or 203.877.4343.
