Evening Adult Book Club This month the club, which meets at the Milford Public Library, is reading "Breaking Silence" by Linda Castillo. The group is open to the public and there's no cost to attend. Starts at 7 p.m.

Wednesday

Woodmont Farmers' Market at Treat's Farm Market offers a wide variety of Connecticut items such as fresh fish, vegetables, seasonal fruit, cheeses, baked goods and guest musicians, artisans and food trucks. Rain or shine. Treats Farm is located at 1339 New Haven Ave. Starts at 3:30 p.m.

E-Books! A Demonstration Learn how to download free e-books from the Milford Public Library. Open to Milford residents. Please bring your devices. No cost to attend. Starts at 6 p.m.

Thursday

AARP 4-Hour Driver Safety Course Learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and how to operate your vehicle more safely in today's increasingly challenging driving environment. You will be eligible to receive an insurance discount upon completing the course. AARP membership is not required to take the course and there are no tests. The classroom course costs only $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Call Tonianne McKane at 203.874.4408 to register.
