Missing Pets of America attends Puttin' on the Dog!

Missing Pets of America attended the annual Puttin' on the Dog event in Greenwich, CT.

Setting out Sunday morning, I wasn't sure what was in store for me. Dog treats in hand, I headed south on I-95 towards Greenwich. I got off at exit three, nervously wondering where I would park. I took a left, then another left, and miraculously found a perfect spot. I thought, "Well, if this in any indiction of how the day is going to go, I am in for a real treat."

And it was indeed a real treat. I'd made arrangements to meet Leslie Yager, the Community Manager for Patch, at Puttin' on the Dog. Though we hadn't met before, we became instant friends. As we wandered around the event, Leslie interviewed numerous non-profit groups and I handed out my homemade doggie bags, each with a Missing Pets of America business card attached. I met so many incredible, loving, selfless, giving people that I was completely overwhelmed. My passion for reuniting lost pets with thier owners grew and grew. Thank you Leslie, and thanks to all of the wonderful people I met at Puttin' on the Dog. See you next year!
