Apple Graphics Card Replacement Program

Apple has determined that certain video cards used in 27-inch iMac computers sold between May 2011 and October 2012 may fail, causing white or blue vertical lines to appear on the computer’s display, or the display to appear distorted, or to turn black.

Eligibility & Specs:

  • iMac's with 3.1GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 or 3.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processors.
  • iMac's (27 inch only)sold between May 2011 - October 2012
  • iMac's must have a failing video card to qualify (must fail Apple's diagnostic tests)
If the iMac meets these requirements, Apple will replace the video card free of charge for up to three years from the iMac’s original date of purchase.
As an Authorized Apple service provider, Technology Revealed can test your iMac to determine if your iMac is affected and if qualified, we can replace the graphics card under this replacement program for you.
