Community Update

I had one of the worst experience of my life at the office of Dr. Saunders without ever meeting him. The receptionists are unprofessional and extremely inconsiderate. The had originally scheduled my appointment on a Monday. When I showed up they told me that the doctor was on vacation and I should have called to confirm my appointment. I have never had to confirm an appointment on my own. They then told me they would reschedule me for the following Monday since it was their fault. A day later I got a phone call saying that they double booked my new appt and the soonest they had was 6 weeks away! I was upset but understood and was willing to wait as there wasn't an immediate need to see the doctor. Two weeks later I because quite I'll and was told by the hospital I needed to call my Dr and get in to see him within 2 weeks. Thy even provided me with a note. I called the Office receptionists and was told there was nothing they could do, the note didn't have any bearing on them, that if I'm so sick I should would have been admitted to the hospital, the doctor is too busy, and maybe I should go find another medical office. She then cancelled my appointment without me asking her too and filled it with a new patient! I never actually got to meet Dr. Saunders but the experiences I had with his office made me happy I didn't continue further with him. It does not make me feel comfortable with my level of care when patients are treated in that way with complete lack of respect and spite by the receptionists for brining to light their mistakes.
