Community Update

Was in court on 4/14/14 for a Divorce modification as scheduled on time (9am) and all paid up with fees. Was up late making sure my Financial Affidavit was completed properly and had everything ready. I told my boss I'd be back by noon. We went through the affidavits with my X and Family Services to look at the numbers. She proceeds to tell us that "We only look at the Income and not the expenses ... ". I wanted to say "Do You know how long and hard I worked at putting together an accurate accounting of my EXPENSES ??, Now you tell me that you don't even look at them ???".
Wait, It gets better ... So we go into the court room and the Judge starts hearing case after case after case and then some of the first cases are called back because they've now gone off and tried to come to an agreement but they just get called right back before all the people who haven't even had a 1st shot at it ?????????? So we get to a point where they call a recess at about 11:30 ... Next the Clerk tells us the court won't resume until 2pm - GRRRRRRRRRRR !!!!! After a quick bite to eat and calling my Boss to say that I will most likely need to take a Floating Holiday to cover this day out of work, we come back for 2pm and proceed to wait until 3pm with no word as to what the hold up is ?????? Then they come out and selectively tell individual cases that they are cancelled and have to be rescheduled !!!!!! WHAT ????????? OK So you ran long and perhaps didn't plan on certain circumstances ??? Well how about a refund for YOU missing the court date then ????? If any one of us missed the timing and the calls and the setup of the Marshall to deliver the papers to the other party ... WE ARE SOL and NEED TO RESCHEDULE !!! A LOT OF WORK WENT INTO SETTING UP THIS DATE AND THE COURT JUST CANCELS ????? How about reimbursing my days pay ??????
... A REFUND OF FEES for missing the mark ????
