Foran High School junior Bradley Orban took first place in this weekend’s Class M Singles Tennis finals in Woodbridge.
The No. 1 seeded Orban breezed through the first five rounds, winning the first four matches 6-0, 6-0 and the semifinal 6-1, 6-2. In the final match, Orban defeated No. 3 seed Dan Rombola, of Berlin, 6-0, 6-1.
Foran boys tennis sits tied with Joel Barlow in fourth place in the team standings for the State Open, set to begin Tuesday at Yale University in New Haven.
