Snow Day Will Be Made Up on Wednesday, Feb. 20

The previous day-off for Milford students will now be a day of school.

Milford Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Feser wrote the following letter to parents and guardians:

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As you know, all schools were closed today.  We have received a number of inquiries regarding how this day will be made up.  Today’s snow day will be made up on Wednesday, February 20.  This decision was made last November when the Board of Education modified the calendar as a result of days lost due to Hurricane Sandy and the early November snow storm.

So that there is no confusion, school will be in session on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, February 20, 21 and 22.  Monday of that week, February 18, is President’s Day, a national holiday, and, therefore, there is no school.  Tuesday, February 19, there is also no school. Therefore, February Break will only be February 18 and 19.

Please be safe.

Elizabeth E. Feser, Ed.D.

Superintendent of Schools

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(

Sad that they had to leave these beauties behind. I'm sure they are heartbroken over it.

Please contact Forgotten Felines in Clinton. They are a no kill cat shelter. Offering "free toRead More a good home" pets is dangerous. There are bad people out there who take them and sell them to research labs or use them as bait in dog fighting. Please rethink this ad.
