What about a plow schedule

NO SCHOOL for 2 more days yet there were our plow trucks and bucket loaders on SUNDAY, clearing the parking lots! Can anyone from the administration explain the priority list followed in snow clearing? I don't understand why school parking lots drew a higher priority than taxpayers' clogged streets, especially when we knew there would be no school Monday.

Oh, the huMANity. It's unfortunate I've heard more citizens complain to DPW guys trying to clear streets in front loaders, asking them to please please PLEEEASE just do my driveway... The poor DPW guy had to stop and explain why he couldn't help. If he does your driveway, he'll have to do everyone's driveway. And the liability if anything should go wrong. These are the same people who want lower taxes, but just in case we get another eight feet of snow, we should have hundreds of extra front loaders parked just outside of my view, constantly well-maintained.... oh, and street warmers, and backup power, and rainbow espresso makers, and chocolate chip fountains, and...

I must say this is the most miserable plow job I have ever encountered. My street is one lane up hill with two esses, I ventured out at 2:00 today and three times on my way out encounterded a car coming the other way. Each time one of us had to back down or pull into a driveway so one of us could continue. At the stop signs? A total joke you CANNOT see if a car is coming without pulling dangerously out into the intersection. The plowed portion of my street is NINE FEET from my drivreway. I guess I can kiss mail delivery goodbye for some time. Thank you DPW for a crappy job.

Great job by the city. I think they did an awesome job and provided us with constant phone calls and updates.
