Yin or Taoist Yoga combines meditation, breathwork and long-held postures for the purpose of increasing the unhindered flow of energy, or Qi, through the connective tissues and energy pathways of the body.  Regular practice reduces stress, increases mobility of the joints and improves circulation in the lymphatic system.  Yin Yoga is a great complement to other aerobic forms of exercise and can be practiced by all levels.
