The nominations are in, and now it's time to vote for Milford's Best Pizza.

Here's who you nominated. To learn more about each restaurant, click on the name. And feel free to tell us in the comments why you voted for who you did.

Papa's ...... the Naugatuck Ave location... Yes, pizzas from the location near the hospital taste different.

If only they'd clean that place...good Lord, have you ever stepped foot in there?

I "step foot" in there every week! Their pizza is the closest thing to New York style you can get in the area. The poll isn't "who has the nicest looking place," but "who has the best pizza."

Pretty short list to choose from considering all the pizza places in Milford. Three I can think of off the top of my head that are as good as any on the list would be Momma Teresa's, Woodmont Pizza, and the new Milford Green Pizza.

Great pizza and great people...we order from Michael Anthony's every week (sometimes twice!) and are never disappointed. Thin crust...but not burned. Try the garlic sticks, theyre great too.

Mama T's is my favorite "eat at" pizza restaraunt. I love their cheese pizza and the restaraunt is clean, spacious, and comfortable. Athen's has great pepperoni. Armelino's has the best sicilian....We are very lucky in Milford! I could go on and on...and yes, New Haven is right around the corner!

Jimmy's by far. Seabreeze 2nd. Don't see the appeal in Papa's. Overrated IMO.

From this list Michael Anthony's has to be my favorite, love the corn meal on the crust but have to say I've now become a fan of Woodmont Pizza and surprised it didn't make the list. Nice thin pizza and very tasty.

Franco is our favorite. Franco will make any kind of pizza you want and it is always perfect. We dont like mozzarella chees and he understands, a hard thing for a pizza baker. The crust is thin and flavorful unlike most crusts. Not alot of gluten, another good thing about Francos. We do like grated cheese pizza the original italian way and Franco is the best, better than Pepes.

Michael Anthony's has gotten the other pizzerias in Milford. Especially when you order a sausage or meatball pie and they actually give you a good amount of REAL sausage and meatballs on them..

Where's Al Dente? That's my favorite, for sure!

Papa's Pizza is just as delicious as New Haven pizza!!! Yummy!!! Hands down the best pizza in Milford!

I must be seeing things ...Johnny's Apizza on Bridgeport Ave., is not in the running? Moving to Milford, I couldn't wait to have real New Haven pizza again. But making the rounds, nothing satisfied until I found Johnny's "abeetz" ! Just writing in this vote makes me want to order it. When a pizza's crust is as good as the topping, you know you have a winner--it's chewy, has real flavor, is well textured and still thin! Cheese is in perfect ratio to sauce, without being overloaded or glue-y. Tomato sauce is not sweet, but perfectly seasoned and balanced. Everything about Johnny's is traditional New Haven pizza, which we all know is better than New York's. Johnny's Apizza is the best of the best, hands down.
