Voter Turnout in Milford Beats State Average

The top ten municipalities in Connecticut with the highest turnout in the 2012 elections.

 

Compared to the state average, Milford voters take democracy seriously. The city had 75.9 percent voter turnout, and although that wasn’t enough to make the state’s top ten list, it was higher than the 73.8 percent turnout throughout the state.

Out of 33,743 eligible voters in Milford, 25,610 voted, according to figures provided by the Connecticut Secretary of State’s office. 

Top 10 municipalities in Connecticut for voter turnout in 2012 (as a percentage of registered voters):

1. Bridgewater – 94.75 percent

2. Middletown – 89.86 percent

3. Ridgefield – 89.42 percent

4. Washington – 88.35 percent

5. Woodbridge – 86.94 percent

6. Granby – 86.22 percent

7. Bolton – 86.20 percent

8. Roxbury – 85.92 percent

9. Wilton – 85.57 percent

10. Killingworth – 85.35 percent

Had the RNC not alienated 20% of it's base in massive displays of corruption at all levels, it would have been a much higher turnout, with very different outcomes.

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(

Please contact Forgotten Felines in Clinton. They are a no kill cat shelter. Offering "free toRead More a good home" pets is dangerous. There are bad people out there who take them and sell them to research labs or use them as bait in dog fighting. Please rethink this ad.
