Senate Hopefuls Murphy, McMahon, Pull Ahead in Q Poll

The new Quinnipiac poll gives a better picture of the two front runners in party primaries for the U.S. Senate seat.

Republican and Democrat are the clear front runners for their parties' endorsements to seek election to Connecticut's open U.S. Senate seat this fall.

McMahon has a 29-percentage point lead on her Republican rival, , and Murphy has an even larger lead, 30 percentage points, over his Democratic Rival, . McMahon was endorsed by Republicans in a party convention last month, as was Murphy.

The poll also shows McMahon gaining on Murphy in the general election matchup.

Both parties will have primaries in August.

The latest Q poll results indicate that Shays' main pitch to Republicans, that he would do better than McMahon in the general election, does not hold water, according to this political analysis in the Hartford Courant.

I don't mind more pizza if its good pizza. There are plenty of horrible and so-so pizza places inRead More Milford. Currently 314 B-port Ave is a boarded up building with a parking lot where cops love to sit. Either this will prevent cops from sitting their or will cause them to sit there more. Also ladies, Milford is known for its P's: pizza, porn, package, and pawn.

I second Christina! Is no one listening? we are up to our ears in pizza! Im pretty sure we have moreRead More pizza in milford than new haven! Where is this trailer going to park at the devon market!? the traffic the market creates is bad enough for people that live in that area without a mobile oven rolling on in! I hope they have thought of that issue at the very least!
