Public Input Wanted for Milford Development

Three public meetings are taking place on August 21st, 28th and September 4th.


is holding a series of three public meetings for the purpose of gathering public comment on the DRAFT Plan of Conservation and Development. The meetings will be held at , 110 River Street on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, August 21st at 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday, August 28th at 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday September 4th at 6:00 pm

Copies of the draft are available for public viewing at The Planning and Zoning Office, , and at the .

An electronic version will be available on the Planning and Zoning website.
The public is encouraged to share their thoughts regarding the draft POCD.

The Plan provides the City’s roadmap for future development and lays the groundworkfor regulation and zoning decisions in the City.

The Plan not only discusses Milford’s built environment and open space, but also transportation, local opportunities for mixed-use transit oriented development, housing goals, Historic Preservation, and the protection of Long Island Sound.
