Jorge Santiago, president of the Boys & Girls Club of Milford Board of Directors, has confirmed that the carnival at Walnut Beach will run from Friday May 4th to Saturday May 12th.

An application for a proposed carnival beginning this Friday was not voted on last night by the . The Commission decided to defer the approval decision regarding the carnival to Director of Recreation Paul Piscitelli.
In an email, Piscitelli wrote, "I will approve the application, once the other appropriate City Departments approve the application." Piscitelli went on to note that such steps were part of "normal procedure."
The carnival would run from Friday May 4th to Saturday May 12th and feature Yo-Yo Ride, Dragon Wagon, Fun House, Merry-Go-Round, as well as games of skill.
The proposed carnival would benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Milford and the Walnut Beach Business Owners Association.
Speaking after the Commission meeting, Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors President Jorge Santiago was enthusiast about the prospect of the other city departments approving the application, allowing Piscitelli to set the carnival in motion.
If everything goes according to plan, the carnival will be at Walnut Beach tomorrow.
