Milford Unveils New City Website

Mayor Ben Blake announced that Milford has launched a fresh, new City website with a more contemporary look and a more user-friendly format.

The new platform is easier to navigate as users have “one-stop” access for locations such as Frequently Asked Questions, Business Information and On-line Services.

Aside from minor layout revisions over the past years, this recent overhaul represents the first major upgrade since the original website went live in November of 2000.

“Our website is an important hub of information and a critical link between City operations and our residents," Mayor Blake said. "Oftentimes, new residents and visitors will form their first impression of our City after logging onto the Milford website.

“Since it’s been said that ‘there’s never a second chance to make a good first impression,’ a first-class web presence is vital and I’d like to thank our MIS team for bringing about this much needed facelift."

In addition to visiting the website often to stay informed about Milford activities and information, residents who have not done so already, are strongly encouraged to log onto the site and sign up for “E-Alerts” - the City’s emergency messaging system.

A mobile-specific version of the site is also available for those visitors using smartphones.
