Milford Transfer Station Extended Hours Begin Saturday

Welp, the City of Milford's Transfer Station will begin its extended Saturday hours for the warmer months starting this Saturday, April 12.

The extended hours each Saturday will now be from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Regular weekday hours will remain the same, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

During the winter, the station is only open until noon on Saturdays.

The extended program will run through to mid-December.

“This program gives residents a convenient way to dispose of their bulky trash items, while leaving less for City crews to pick up, offering a cost savings to the City,” Mayor Ben Blake said in a press release “I look forward to another successful program again this year.”
