Among the measured outlined in the letter, are:
- The Police Department has increased its presence at our schools since the day of the Newtown tragedy.
- A check of all outside cameras at every building was conducted as well as the buzzer system and front doors to all schools to ensure all are in working order.
- Also, the cameras in place in our schools are being linked directly to the Milford Police Department. This way, in case of a future emergency of any kind the Police Department can see exactly what is happening, in real time.
