Milford residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy can learn how to apply online for federal relief funds at an informational session Monday, Sept. 9, at Milford City Hall.
Get details on the application process and eligibility requirements at the workshop, which will run from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mayor Ben Blake will join federal officials able to field questions related to the new available relief funds.
“The Milford community was among the hardest hit by Sandy, affecting over 2,000 properties in the city,” Blake said in a statement.
“For the past 10 months, our focus has been on getting those displace back and helping residents rebuild their lives,” he said. “We’re hopeful that this funding will assist our shoreline neighborhoods and return our shoreline neighbors to their homes.”
