Mayor Blake Warns of Potential Flooding on Milford Shoreline

"Please take all necessary precautions including moving your vehicles to higher ground. Please stay safe."

In a message posted on the Milford CT City Hall Facebook pageMayor Ben Blake wrote the following message this Wednesday, January 30, 2013:

Milford coastal residents are advised of the potential for flooding along our shoreline this evening and tomorrow due to high winds, rain and high tide at 1:30 AM.

The National Weather Service has advised winds are expected to be 16 - 21 mph increasing to 23 - 28 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 60 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Winds will continue tomorrow with gusts as high as 44 mph.
