Halloween

Mayor Blake has announced that Halloween is postponed until Wednesday, November 7, 2012.

Surrounding communities have joined Milford in postponing the seasonal tradition.

“It is currently not safe for residents to be walking in neighborhoods with potential life threatening conditions,” stated Mayor Blake. “Halloween is a fun event but also needs to be safe.”

In addition, the City of Milford is pleased to partner with the Westfield CT Post Mall for their Halloween Dance Party for Children, which will be held tomorrow night, October 31st, starting at 4:00 p.m.

At this children’s event, costumes are requested and will feature kids’ entertainment and the STAR 99.9 street team.
