I'm looking forward to checking out the New Britain Museum of American Art. Milford Library Director Jean Tsang said it's a great place. What museums have you been to recently or are looking forward to checking out?

I'M UPSET, Another Landmark is going the way of the demolition crew. I refer to the mural on the side of Harrisons. The new Pizza house is starting out on the wrong foot. Here is Milford we have had the wrecking ball act before the law could catch up with them and I hold the administrations both in the past and the current responsible. How long will this continue?

I hear you Ron, but at this point I welcome a new business that will occupy the old Harrison's building, even if the trade off is losing the mural. Colony Grill is a great establishment and they are active in the communities they are in, the Fairfield location is full of old Fairfield artifacts and hopefully the Milford one will be as well. Lets give them a chance, at least they stepped up to the plate to do something nice with that eye sore of a building.

Mr. Ron: just biked by the new Colony. Looks like they have removed all the siding surrounding your beloved mural. It looks intact to me. Calm down.

The Harrisons building is an eyesore and the mural is in a word lame. Tear it down and bring Milford center at least into the 20th century and we can move on from there. Old and ugly does not equal landmark status.

CS It's not an eye-sore, just a historic wooden building. By your standards the White House in Washington DC fits into the same category.
