Devon Committee to Vote on 15K in Spending

State Rep Kim Rose has information on the Devon Revitalization Committee's vote Tuesday night.

State Rep. Kim Rose posted the following comment regarding the proposed dog park and community garden in Devon.

Tuesday night Margaret Egan Center 7 pm- the Devon Revitalization Committee will vote on how to spend their remaining $15,000.

Several of us proposed to have the money given to jump start the capital improvement project for the garden and dog park.

Others would like the money spent on 66 hanging flower baskets, a 2 and 3 year maintenance contract and a water tank to water the baskets.

The meeting is open to the public, this is tax payers dollars and if you can make the meeting you should be there to voice your opinion.

We will raise money for the garden and park in any event but this 15k would provide the fencing and jump start the project.

Unfortunately, I am unable to attend the meeting tonight, but would like to volunteer my professional services as an event planner/fundraiser to assist in raising funds for the garden and dog park. Thank you
