Ducklings, rabbits, chickens, kittens, puppies, pot belly pigs, goats, etc. are not good holiday gifts -- unless you live on a farm that raises animals and you know what they grow into, Chief Animal Control Officer Rick George says.
"There is too much stress in the house at these times of the year for any of the critters -- and while baby chicks and ducks look cute and fuzzy, they grow up to be big ducks and chickens that have a tendency to defecate more than they eat, and at a constant rate," he said.
