The mayoral race in Milford comes to a head on Tuesday, and the most recent campaign finance disclosures show Ben Blake has raised $78,445 compared to Bob Joy’s $69,365.
Joy has spent $45,000 in the race for town hall. Despite raising more money, Blake’s campaign spent only $40,074 by the close of the period.
The difference between the two is more pronounced when looking at the cash on hand as of Oct. 25, the close of the final reporting period before the election. Blake, a Democrat, had $38,370 available in the final days before the election - $12,000 more than Joy, a Republican.
