There's an app for that !! Police are searching for a man who told a bank teller that he had a bomb and demanded money from the employee Tuesday morning. An unidentified man entered the Milford Bank, which is located at 205 Bridgeport Ave., around 8:30 a.m. Police said he placed a paper bag on the counter and stated there was a bomb inside of it. The man took an undisclosed amount of money after handing the teller a note in and then fled from the scene. No injures were reported during the robbery, police said. After leaving the bank, the man left the bomb at the teller station, which caused police to evacuate the building and surrounding area. Route 1 between Daytona and Hazelwood avenues was closed while police investigated the bag and what was inside it. Around 10:30 a.m., the Connecticut State Police Bomb Squad determined that there were no explosives inside the bag and the bank was reopened to the public. The part of Route 1 reopened around that time as well. No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call the Milford Police Department at 203- 877-1465.

WFSB chose to take their programming away from us in Milford, so they should just stay out of town.

Since we're thread-hijacked, and there are updates all over, regarding WFSB/Cablevision, could someone explain to me how it is that WFSB can force Optimum to stop sending us in Milford WCBS-TV (NYC channel 2), but our neighbors across the Housatonic River are still getting that station?
