Stratford Man Arrested in Milford for Cocaine, Pot

Joseph Martinez faces charges of possession of cocaine and marijuana.

A 23-year-old Stratford man was arrested on narcotics charges Sunday after a motor vehicle stop on Bridgeport Avenue in Milford.

Joseph Martinez of San Gabriel Avenue faces charges of possession of narcotics (cocaine) and marijuana (less than half an ounce).

Milford Police said that they pulled Martinez over on Bridgeport Avenue at 12:30 a.m. Sunday and found cocaine and marijuana in his vehicle.

Martinez was held in lieu of $1,000 bond and is due in court March 12.
