That's well and good but parents looking the other way is a much bigger problem...

What happens to the minors?

Hi John, I've reached out to the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Division about what will become of the minors. I will post their answer here when I receive one. Thanks!

I believe it was a sting operation - minors posing as adults.

Well, it is about time the adults encouraging young adults to drink will be dealt with!

This is all a bit overreaching with some of these comments...Bottom line, you have a couple kids who tried to sneak into a bar to drink. No mystery there, kids have been trying this for YEARS!! Rather than bashing the business owner for an isolated incident, just emphasize to their bartenders the requirement they make sure ALL patrons requesting alcoholic beverages are carded. I'm sure that may irritate some women who will need to dig thru their designer clutch to fetch their license and some guys you are too lazy to get it out of their wallet, but it will address the issue.

They barely card. Not surprising.

I think that people who are wondering about what is going to happen to these kids are way too consumed in the lives of others. I would like to (on their behalf) tell you to mind your own business. Anyways, I would be more concerned about those who are getting murdered on the street these days than about a minor who is getting caught with a fake ID at a bar. YES, it was against the law and YES, they did make a HUGE mistake. But hey, did you know that people make mistakes?! I am sure just about everyone has made some in their lives. So go ahead and make judgements about those who are harming the lives of others, not about some silly underage kids who used to own a fake ID. That is all I have to say. Thank you.
