Report: Man Killed in Milford House Fire

Neighbors reportedly attempted to extinguish the flames with garden hoses before fire officials arrived on scene.

A man was reportedly killed Tuesday when a fire ripped through a Summit Avenue home.

The Connecticut Post reports that the man -- who was not identified as of late Tuesday -- was pronounced dead at the scene.

Neighbors attempted to extinguish the flames with garden hoses prior to the fire department’s arrival at 63 Summit Ave., the newspaper reported.
