President Obama Speaks About Newtown Shooting

"I know there's not a parent in America who doesn't feel the overwhelming grief that I do," said President Obama.

President Obama made a call to action, saying, "We're going to have to come together and take meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this regardless of the politics."

At this moment, we don't need the President to come to us as a parent, but as the President...The killing of innocent people at the hands of gun-toting madmen need to be addressed and a solution to handling the control of guns found.

Some of us have the good taste to realize this is NOT the time and place to lobby our political agendas. Apparently neither "LJ" nor the present occupant of the Oval Office have such taste.

LJ, the problem is that people are disarmed in schools. The police cannot get there fast enough. People have to be able to defend themselves and they do not have that right now.

Please, this is a time to grieve and pray to God for healing.
It is not a time to attack and accuse your neighbors of evil

But please, please, please , LJ and others, take a beak from partisan politics and think about your negative comments at such a time as this. Good grief, America! Stop being so egocentric and individualistic -- start acting as a unified country. It is unity which made you great -- not this negative, divisive, fault-finding bickering!

Repeat after me... everything this man says or does is politically-motivated.

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(

Sad that they had to leave these beauties behind. I'm sure they are heartbroken over it.

Please contact Forgotten Felines in Clinton. They are a no kill cat shelter. Offering "free toRead More a good home" pets is dangerous. There are bad people out there who take them and sell them to research labs or use them as bait in dog fighting. Please rethink this ad.
