Police Seek Subway Robbery Suspect

The suspect got away from the Milford eatery on a bicycle, police say.

A man claiming to have a gun robbed the Subway restaurant on 1 River St. and police are now searching for the suspect.

According to the police, the robbery happened on Sept. 16 at 7:55 p.m. After the suspect told the clerk he had a gun and took money from the register, he left the store on a bicycle traveling westbound on North Broad Street. 

Police say the suspect is a white or Hispanic male, 18-20 years of age and 5’9-5’10” in height. He was wearing gray gym style shorts with two white stripes down the sides of them, a dark colored long sleeve sweatshirt with writing on the left breast area, white sneakers and a New York Yankees baseball hat and backpack.
