Police Searching for Missing Milford Teen

The 16-year-old was reported missing Monday and might be in West Haven or the surrounding area.

Milford police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 16-year-old girl who was last seen on July 11.

Brittany Plona, 16, was reported missing to the Milford Police Department on July 14. She was last seen at her residence at 973 Naugatuck Ave. on Friday.

According to police, Plona last contacted her father on Monday, indicating that she was going to West Haven. She also asked him why the police were looking for her.

Plona is described as a white female, 5’ 8” tall, weighing 145 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police have also received information that Plona might have dyed her hair a different color to avoid being located.
