Police: Milford Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint

The male suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and several packs of Newport cigarettes before fleeing the Shell station at 25 Bridgeport Avenue late Friday night.

Milford Police are looking for the public's help in tracking down the male suspect who robbed the Shell Gas Station at 25 Bridgeport Avenue late Friday night.   

According to Officer Jeffrey Nielsen, on April 4 at about 10:52 p.m., police received a report that a man wearing a black mask "entered the store brandishing a handgun." 

"The male took an undisclosed amount of money and several packs of Newport cigarettes before fleeing the store," Nielsen stated in a press release.

He added that no one was injured during the robbery.  

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall and wearing a denim jacket.

Nielsen noted that he is working to obtain a photo and/or video from the station taken during the robbery. Patch will update this post if the additional information becomes available.
