Police Foil Couple's Alleged Plan to Murder Two People

The suspects arrested were reportedly plotting to kill two people they know, police say.

Milford police have foiled an alleged attempt by a man and woman to solicit the murder of two people.

According to a press release just issued by the Milford Police Department, police have arrested two individuals, Gregory A. Christofakis, 50, and his companion, Ziba Guy, 44. The two are former Milford residents who now reside at 69 Marsh Hill Road in Orange, police said.

The arrests come following a tip investigators received that Christofakis and Guy were planning to solicit the murder and assault of two persons known to them, according to the release. Police did not release any other information as to details of the plan, nor the identity of the would-be victims or their relation to the suspects. The case remains under investigation, police said.
