Police seek public's help in nabbing suspect.

Police say a gun-wielding man wearing a knit ski mask robbed a Milford Subway Monday and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

The incident happened at about 9:20 p.m. at the store located at 609 Bridgeport Ave. The suspect entered the store and displayed a handgun before getting behind the counter and making off with the cash, police said.

“Investigators believe the suspect may have left the scene in a newer-style grey Honda-type vehicle,” police spokesman Officer Jeff Nielsen said in a statement.
