Phone-Swiping, Stun Gun-Wielding Suspect Sought in Milford

Police ask for the public's help in a bizarre robbery reported Monday night.

Be careful who you lend your phone to: You don’t want someone stealing it, much less leading you on a chase that ends with that stranger holding a stun gun saying, “I got kids to feed.”

At least that's the account an unsuspecting resident gave to Milford police about an incident Monday night in the area of Naugatuck and Bridgeport avenues.

The suspect eventually distanced himself from the phone-lender and then police and was lost in the area of Judson Place, police said.
