NJ Man Arrested for Incident at Milford Hotel

Man faces third-degree assault and other charges.

A New Jersey man was arrested in Milford early Thursday for an alleged incident in which he grabbed a woman by the neck and tried to block her attempt to call 911.

Police say the incident happened inside a room at the Howard Johnson Hotel, 1052 Boston Post Road, at about 12:50 a.m. Thursday.

The arrested, Anthony Solimeno, 38, of Neptune, N.J., was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.

Solimeno had been held in lieu of $2,000 bond.
